I'm bored so here you go, a quick game of guess the thingy. Obviously, it's very easy to tell what those are, the difficult part is to guess what car those come from. For now I'll only give you this hint: those are from a front wheel drive car, one that pretty much all of you know but few had hands on experience with. Believe me, if you ever worked on this particular vehicle you'd recognise those instantly. They're that unusual.

Of course, you could just reverse GIS the image, but please don't.

HINT 2: You'll find a part of this sort in any FWD or AWD car, but it usually looks (and works) a lot different.

HINT 3: Those are a part of the drivetrain. The part itself isn't unique (hence it should be easy to recognise), it's the application that's extremely unusual.

HINT 4:

HINT 5: Using an universal joint instead of a CV-joint would have been OK in the 1930's or 1940's. This car was made until 1991.

Nothing. A Tyre is a tyre, not a thingy. :P

I'm gonna guess it has to do with the driveshaft. I'll say its from a Camry. Why? We all know of it, but I don't think any of us ever worked on one.

Not a Camry. There's no way they'd put anything this weird on a Camry.

First thing I thought was weird exhaust hangers, but those look metal.

Those are indeed metal.

I'm going to randomly guess it's a [censored] from a [censored]. Well, not really a guess because I was so stumped I reverse-GISed it, so I'm out. But even after that, I still don't know what they actually are, although I do now know which car they're from.

The part is actually not very unique. It's the application that's mental.

Thats a really weird CV joint.

This isn't a CV joint, but it has the same function. The manufacturer of that car was actually mental enough to use a non-homokinetic joint (which means teh input speed and the output speeds will vary depending on the joint's angle) instead of a constant velocity joint.

Positive to negative torque converters for a late model turbo encabulator. What do I win?

Trabant joint, last hint helped but I was thinking about hatch or door hinge from Trabant or Wartburg. Pozdrawiam :)(eng: greetings)

Knowing that You are from the same country, and the car is FWD...I mean it wasn't easy but maybe us or German folks really had a chance to guess:) After whole day parts searching for my car it was a nice break (in this case successful:)
